Thunder Ball Help Description Overlay.

Image
Created a simplified and slightly stylized UI image element for displaying information about the various balls, color, and description of how they worked.   Here's the element. Plan to utilize a simpler san serif font close to the one used in the above picture for "OKLAHOMA" that will scroll across the top with the ball and more info in the lower screen.

Game Project 2: Thunder Ball!

Second game project Thunder Ball which is a cross between basketball and Angry Birds. Created flow chart with key tasks and goals that needed to be accomplished with each phase and contributed to game play idea (balls that did different things). Created different color basketballs for slide as stand in while model assets were being made.

Final Game Presentation for Furred Reich

Image
Final Slide Presentation Video of Game Play: So I designed the dialogue matrix, did the transparent png icons and the illustrations of the dog soldiers.  In order to bring visual cohesiveness I then textured the buildings, objects, set dressing, cat and dog is style and coloring similar to the icons. The cobblestone tile is actually one that I bought several years ago (for $2) from a game asset site, CGTrader that I adjusted the stroke and coloring on but was not necessarily made from scratch. I still like the original illustrations versus the faded ones made to match the rest of the game better but as said they would not have fit well with the rest of the game's visual style.

Redid the fur texture for the Cat and Dog models.

Image
Retouched the cat and dog textures, however not sure if the UV will map up there's been a bit of confusion on that so make a tileable white and brown fur textures just in case of emergencies.
